Interested in getting your hands dirty and getting fit for free? The Conservation Volunteers Fingal is a group of volunteers who carry out practical nature conservation projects in the Dublin area.

Outings take place on most Saturdays throughout the year and range from planting trees in Donabate to removing rhododendrons on Howth Head, and woodland management in Blanchardstown. You can come out once in a while on a particular project or more often if you have the time.

If you would like to find out more about the CVF, check out their website www.cvf.ie or contact Fingal’s Biodiversity Officer on 087 1214641.
